What is pDinah?

pDinah is the PHP implementation of the Dinah CMS. Naturally there will be refinements, improvements amongst other differences, due to the different technologies used.

What are some of the advantages of pDinah?

• A more user-friendly CMS.
• The ability to two several instances running concurrently.
• No root user access will be required.
• A simple file/directory structure.
• A web-based installer will be available.
• The CMS will use drop-in modules.

What modules are available "out of the box"?

• News (publish from admin, forums or projects)
• Forums (wwwboard and thread-list style layouts)
• Instant Messaging
• Brigades system
• Projects system
• Administration (obviously, but stated just encase)
• Points/Karma system
• RSS feeds

What addon modules are "in the works"?

• A store/cart system
• File system/Repository
• Article/Tutorial library
• 2nd-tier groups (for secondary ranking such as Sered)
